Tim Kretschmann, producer and host of the PageantCast, was a Milwaukee Radio personality for 17 years. Near the end of the run of the program on the radio, Tim began to experiment with various modes of online audio, and fell in love with podcasting. Tim had interviewed local MAO contestants regularly on his radio program, eventually landing interviews with Miss USA and Miss Galaxy. It was after those interviews that he created “PageantCast.” When Tim’s good friend, Tracy Gest, was competing at Miss America as Miss Wisconsin 2005, he went to Las Vegas to cover the event. Since launching the show in December of 2005, he’s interviewed many Miss USAs, Miss Americas, Outstanding Teens, Mrs. Globes, Mrs. Internationals, Miss Galaxy’s and others.
